How To Get To Formia

From one of the Rome airports, you will need to take the airport bus to Rome's Termini station then take a train to Formia station; a direct train (called 'intercity' in Italian) takes just over an hour to Formia from Roma Termini but you will need to pay a supplement for this train. Once in Formia take a bus or a taxi to the flat.  For first timers it may be best to take a taxi. This will cost about 8 euros. If people intend to explore the area it may be best to hire a car from the airport in Rome and travel to Formia by car taking the A1 motorway or the Appia and Pontina roads to Formia. This journey will take about 2 / 3 hours depending on traffic and the time of year.  Detailed Travel and Transport sheets will be sent to guests prior to departure
